Once known primarily for the hunting around its banks, Jackson Lake State Park
has become one of Colorado's finest outdoor recreation and water sports sites.
A wide variety of activities such as boating, waterskiing, fishing and swimming
can all be enjoyed on the 2,700 surface-acre lake. The park is also known for
its seasonably warm-water, with sandy bottom and shore. Jackson Lake also has
260 campsites and 60 picnic sites for your enjoyment. During the winter, the park
offers camping, wildlife observation, photography, ice fishing, ice skating and

Buy your Colorado State Parks pass when you visit the park. Boat registration
can be taken care of at the park as well! Be sure to check out the visitor's center.
Not only are there numerous displays, there's also a bookstore to browse through!

Fishing, camping, hunting, ice skating, wildlife viewing, hiking, and biking are
all offered at Jackson Lake State Park. Please call the park visitors center for
up-to-date conditions. Reservations can be made for your favorite campsites a
minimum of three days in advance up to a maximum of six months in advance. Campground
reservations can be made by calling 1.800.678.2267 or by going online to www.parks.state.co.us.

Directions - From U.S. 34/I-76 interchange, take Colorado Highway 39 north
for 7.25 miles through Goodrich, then go west on Y5 (follow the paved road) for
